I also received a reply from the Toronto Consulate, and they mentioned that it has already been handed over to BLS. However, the BLS website continues to show 'processing at Consulate General.' I will wait today, and tomorrow I am planning to visit BLS in Brampton. I called BLS, but they did not provide me with any information, consistently blaming the consulate for not dispatching the documents, which I believe is untrue.

Most of the things BLS tells us untrue only. Please advise about your experience with in-person pickup of OCI at BLS Brampton ? I don't think you can book an appointment for that.

I am planning to visit the BLS Brampton office today. The pickup time is scheduled for after 2:00 pm. I will inform you about what they say. If they do not allow me to enter, I will book a random appointment to gain entry and speak with them.

BLS service agent said that forward the email to us saying that OCI card has been handed over to BLS and call back after 1 hr.

Appreicate the help in advance for these questions
For the OCI application do we need to send any original documents or just copies are enough. do we have to self attest and sign them?
In the passport details on the application form do you put your cancelled Indian passport details or the Canadian details. seem to have conflicting information on their website checklist and the oci checklist

Once oci status is processed then how many days it takes to dispatch from Delhi, to receive at Toronto and to receive by bls and to deliver at home by bls?

You need an amendment if you have acquired citizenship post H1B stamp or I-797 approval notice. However, once you get amendment approved , you don't need to go for a stamping or interview. You can travel with fresh I-797/or amendment approval notice .
