Oath Timeline - test at Ottawa office

I got the Oath letter invitation few weeks ago for October 16th, Good luck all.

Hi ontarioan,

Application was sent in September 2013.
I had my Citizenship test in April 2014.
I was given the CIT520 Form in May 2014 to provide additional documents ( T4, notice of assessment , record of employments etc.. )
I sent all the required documents to the local office in June 2014.
I got the Oath invitation letter for October 16th 2014.

Hi , I passed my test on 23 July, the agent asked me some simple questions after test then she gave me my rresult ,witches I got 20/20, and she told to wait from one month to 3 months to take next step I'm still waiting for letter nothing new, did any one pass the test in July 2014 and got the Oath invitation yet?

Wow, this is very depressing to see how slow the ottawa office is. I hope you get your invitation soon

for my wife and myself the waiting time is close to 35 month so far...

Application accepted on December 13th, 2011.
CIC started processing application on Nov 3rd, 2012 and my wife immediately received RQ.
Provided all the documents within 2 weeks.
Received invitation to appear for citizenship test in early June, 2013.
Successfully passed the test on June 18th, 2013.
Basically no news since then. Requested ATIP, not helpful at all. Called CIC, they advised to call them back after Nov 13th, as they "will send a note to the officer reviewing your case". I have little hope to get any news after Nov 13th anyway, most likely the answer will be "your file is in queue for a review" LOL.

Yes, I agree- I have done same like this and I called them yesterday now saying that "we sent a letter to you about your application status"

My timeline is -
Received your application on October 12, 2011.

Sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 12, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Started processing your application on September 14, 2012.

I got RQ and sent all papers on time.

Sent you a notice on April 29, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 20, 2014 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Passed the test.

I called them on 14 Oct 2014, then i got this msg "We sent you a letter on October 14, 2014. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the letter before sending us additional information, as the letter will outline all information that is required. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

I do not understand what is the meaning of that?

Hi, I gave my test on July 22, 2014. The officer was very friendly and said "we will inform of you of the next steps in couple months". Hopefully, the next step is The Oath for all of us.

My husband has passed the test on July 24th, around your dates.
No oath letter yet.
He applied on Jan 28th, 2014, when did you apply?

Here is my time line
I sent my application on December 12th, 2013
I received a study book after one week
I received a notice on June 22, 2014 to appear and write the test on July 23th, 2014
The test was very easy , the agent told me to wait from one to 3 months for oath letter , until that day nothing new ,...........
