Are you short of any days for residency? CIC is insane that you can't expect.

I've passed my test on Feb 20th 2014 after RQ at St.Clair.
Recently I got an ATIP report.
I see that the case stage/status is Assess/Open
The latest note dated from June 2014 says that the "File held for further review/analysis"
Also I see an activity type "hearing" with status "Not Required" updated in April 2014

Does it mean that I should wait for Oath since hearing is not required or "further review/analysis" may eventually trigger hearing?
Does anyone had same note "File held for further review/analysis" and got an Oath soon?

6 months and 5 days is too much for waiting...

It is outrageous and cruel. Shame on the CIC bums for wasting our time.

I agree with Rayan14. CIC is testing our patience to the extreme. They should hire more staff/contractors who can work quickly on non-routine applications and process them faster. 6+ months after the test is just unacceptable.

Hi All,
I had my test in March 2014 (Pre-test RQ). ATIP report shows that the citizenship judge approved the application and it was granted in June 2014. Till date, I am waiting for the invite for the oath ceremony.

St. Clair office - did test in June - by July not a single word added to file (that's 30 days) meaning 1 month of dormant file in queue for sure.

I am 2011 applicant and had my test in March 2014. My file was approved in May 2014. I am still waiting for oath.

So, why the heck is that? I have seen people who got letter in 1.5 months after test and these are people who applied last year. We got punished because they wanted to pass a bill and it's done now - why are they still treating people unequally?
