It is allowed to leave Canada after application under the existing citizenship Act, isn't it?

Does anyone know if the online status service has been suspended, which means CIC will not update the information, such as a letter for oath or a letter to request to see the judge, etc. ?

Could you please check if your online status changed as well? Somebody in this forum said now CIC stopped updating the online status for Citizenship applicants.

Could you please share some more information? Did you see the judge? or asked to provide additional RQ? or just get the RQ and wait a long long time and get the oath directly?

I suspect that is another tactics CIC is playing to intentionally delay our case for some hidden reasons. Why do they ask for the same documents for two times? Do you think they may ask some forms called CIT0521 for the same documents again after you submit CIT0520?

Why do they RQ you again? You are lack of days in Canada? You are unemployed in the past 4 years?

Also please share your timeline.

Have you ever received a RQ before? And if yes, have you already provided those documents in your last RQ reply? If both yes, I think you can write a letter to CIC to ask why they ask the same documents twice. Is that the new tactics CIC is playing for delaying the processing?

Does it mean "see the judge?" Why are you required to go for residence hearing? are you short of day of residence? Does it reflect in the online status check?

So the key question is "will this clause retrospectively apply and affect the existing applicants once it is in force? It is very likely that the case will not be finalised before this clause takes effect some day in future"
