AYAZ, At the time of my initial post the outlook was much more positive. I have my Wes assessment in hand as I am sure hundreds around the world also have and this does not include the persons with Canadian qualifications who do not need to have Education Assessment. However with the delay in releasing the application kit and so many persons still waiting on their credential assessments I do believe that it will take at least up to the end of thursday for any NOC category to reach its cap. Its just so sad that they couldn't have agreed upon 10,000 applicants rather that just 5000. Many hearts will be broken....I pray mine is not among them

No...Each Noc is different...no one can really accurately predict. We may get to the end of next week and none of the caps of filled. If you don't apply you don't have a chance, so apply in good faith.

My 2 cents…If you are applying for a noc that was also included in the last year’s occupation list, your chances are slim because many those who attempted last year will make sure they have everything ready by 4th of May. But if your noc is new for this year list, then you have good chances since many ppl are still gathering documents like Wes assessment, IELTS score, exp letter etc.

I agree Gogabutt......Many computing Noc people seem to not have been prepared, but even some who prepared from last year are having a difficult time with WES.

My 2 cents...If you are applying for a noc that was also included in the last year's occupation list, your chances are slim because many those who attempted last year will make sure they have everything ready by 4th of May. But if your noc is new for this year list, then you have good chances since many ppl are still gathering documents like Wes assessment, IELTS score, exp letter etc.

Not it has to be valid. They will not accept Expired IELTS.

Forms arent out yet right? I guess they are still updating it, coz most of the forms have 2012 date at the bottom left.

I guess required documents are updated. i.e., Checklist and the Schedule 3 which were necessary. Rest stays the same.

Which occupations are new this year ? ? ?It's actually very confusing to compare.
