now what do i do next?

Unless you applied Inland, in which case you can `take a nap' until ~October of next year.
Inland AIP is taking about 11 months, based on the latest update.

I applied inland and sent out my application a couple of days ago. Confirmed it was received and signed for...do I wait now for a confirmation that my application has actually been received? How long after (approx.) does it take to get an in process email? And last but not least I sent my application in and the VERY next day I finally got my FBI certificate in the mail : how do I go about sending it to them now?

You sent it to Ontario, not Alberta?
Inland applications are sent to Alberta, outland are sent to Ontario. Sounds like you are outland. So you will hear news soon.

Wait until you get an email with a UCI and/or filenumber. You can then mail it to Vegreville with that information and ask them to attach it to the file. Call after a few weeks of mailing to confirm it has indeed been attached properly.
