Sorry! I have noticed that with this new express entry ranking it's easy to get enough points! what a waist of time waiting for 3 years for PNP and still nothing! I wish that I have applied through EE.

I actually got an ITA in December but cic said I should have my paper application finalized in March and EE is not going to be any faster. My IELTS scores expired last month. It is getting very frustrating.

I had friends that they submitted two applications one for EE and PNP and got PPR through EE. My friends from September passed their security (based on notes) but still waiting for PPR and who knows when they are going to send PPR.

Yup I wasted a year because they change the rules for CEC into EE. Most coming out of PGWP were burned by it, so it's great to see the CRS point grid changes to favor local temp residents again

I have question for people who recived ppr email do u get emaip from cic or get email in my cic account if a direct email from what email address u usually get

it goes to your own email account (Similar to AOR, RPRF, MR, etc) I did not receive myCIC email or updates

so check your junk mail box or "Promotion" filter. I set a special folder in gmail Inbox so every .gc.ca email goes into that and gives me a buzz on my phone

I used my university email account (using gmail server). Is there a chance that I might be filtered? I got emails from CIC with no issues though.

Also, I'm assuming ECAS should be updated too, right?

This is my time line.
Application received by CIC November 26, 2015
AOR February 25, 2016
Medical request October 29
Decision made March 8

Hope all of us will be freed from this ordeal soon.

I got PPR email through my representative today. She said she received the PPR email yesterday evening. So DM and PPR arrived on the same day in my case. Just for your information. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those who are waiting for DM and PPR.

I don't know how other mail filters behaves, you can still setup rules in gmail right? There have been reports that PPR went to the Promotion filter

ECAS should update to DM, but for some unknown reason I can't access ECAS since around early February so I can't confirm

March break is coming, my concern is our officer might go and enjoy it for another two weeks.

Oh no...don't say this Alex, I am trying to think positive 8)

Even some express entry applicants from March 2016 (around a year) awaiting security and PPR (read EE section)! Their security has been started in Oct and still ongoing! I think it's just the nationality and nothing else.
