My understanding was that some provinces do get PNP quicker than others. I think Alberta is the slowest processing time still. About 9-12 months to receive nomination (at least) then normally a minimum of 14 months before we receive CoPR. In total including waiting for the nomination, your now looking at 2 years+ for PR in Alberta.

I had understood that BC, Ontario and Saskatchewan you could pretty much have your PNP in around 12 months including nomination. I know a friend who got his, including nomination in around 12 months and that was BC.

In 2014 for PNP applicants from Manitoba took around 20 months to get their nomination and now many people from 2014 batch are still waiting for federal visa (close to 3 years)

Need only Passport, visa and CoPR.
Only few questions about criminality and legal status all time in Canada (it's from CoPR letter and you sign this place on CoPR after answer).

Good luck

BC PNP took 12 months+ since late 2014.

Coutts Alberta. No, my valid work permit I mean (visitor for kids).
We don't need entry visa for our mother country

You guys are no alone... skilled professionals who add value to the province. :)

I know some individuals who come here after 2014 to study, got a work permit... and got enough points for EE application. Guess what? They now have a PR and we.. well we keep seeing more EE applicants getting PR. :)

It is being a frustrating exercise to watch this all going on and learn that CIC does not really care about their old batch of paper based applicants.

What a fair deal, but somehow not surprised.

Yes, it's correct.
But second way: write email in local office.

CIC-Calgary@cic.gc.ca for example! 1-2 days return on email
