nope, my status is changed to new format but my background check is same from long time "not need at this time" or in new format "not applicable".

I called CIC again and they say that my file is good nothing is missing but my security is not started yet, and said that my file is in transit to Ottawa (when? she dint know). I don't know what is mean? what is it show If file transit to Ottawa?

Seems that your security has been done and they are sending it to Ottawa. I think you will see BG in progress shortly. Don't worry the call center agents can only see the GCMS notes and based on that they told you not started but I am pretty sure they are working on the security.

They do background check and security for everyone but the status changes to in progress when they do the final review after passing security.
