Lizzy, i got my photos clicked on nov22 and i check specification on that day like 5-6 time and that day it was 35*45 mm.. I think they changed on dec 1st.

we took the picture at the end of November 2015* like on the 27 th of November and the picture size was 50 x70 mm, I think they change it at the end of November, if you sign the paper before this date I think they will understand your situation, but you can send them the new pictures if you got advice from CIC agent. My problem was it was not the size of the picture, my 2 years old son shoulder and his hand was visible that makes me some how to worry about the picture but the phtograper grant us it is just normal for kids to have this kind of picture.

I think i will be fine as i got my photos done on nov 22 and at back of photo the photographer also printed date as well the day photo was taken. But to be on safe side just sending them tomorrow. They recieved my file today. So do not worry for kids.. His face need to be visible .. His arms are not supposed to be in front of his face.. They also know its hard to get photo done for kids.

Hi Param, I am still waiting for the new sized photo from the studio in Philippines. I asked them to send it via DHL to PAPUA, the I will send it to CIO with the Generic Form.

I haven't done any explaination letter yet.Hahaha!!! I am still gathering my thoughts on what to pu in the letter.

Have they received your package already? in CIO?

Hi Param, glad to know they already got your package!

Mine, I have to wait for the studio from PHILS to send our resized and stamped photos (50-70mm)
We are in PAPUA now, so it might take a week to get here thru DHL.

Once I got the pics I will send it with the NEW Generic Form.

Mim, 5 photos need to be stamped with studio name and date it was taken,your name and date of birth . one another photo need to be blank.. So all together 6 photos.

I thought you have to write your name date of birth and date of photo taken on five photos but only one is required to have stamp (name and address of photo studio) then the 6th photo is blank.

The back of one (1) photograph must:
•bear the name and complete address of the photography studio;
•bear the date the photograph was taken;
•The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.

Yes they say you need to write studi name behind one photo but to to safe side i did stamp all 5 photos and write all details .. You are still writing all details behind 4 more photos so why not stamp all 5 and then leave 6th blank. The way you planned that is also right.

I did that on my first photo, the one I submitted before. But for my 2nd application Ill do the other way

I submiited my application and reeived by CIO last Nov.9, with photos bearing old CIO specs for photos, I hope that wouldnt be affected by the changes they have right now.

Hi,
I am a bit confused. I am under the impression that we have to scan and upload all documents when applying under Express entry, and not end them to CIO, Sydney. Is this also true for photos? Do we have to send the physical photos to CIC under express entry, or do we scan and upload?

Not clear on this at all.
