Hi,
I am a bit confused. I am under the impression that we have to scan and upload all documents when applying under Express entry, and not end them to CIO, Sydney. Is this also true for photos? Do we have to send the physical photos to CIC under express entry, or do we scan and upload?

Hi, hot2cold! I hope I can help you, but I am a PAPER-BASED Applicant.... So all the details/documents as well as the photos are sent physically to CIO-Nova Scotia.

I am not really familiar with EE application (EXpress Entry) I believed yours have different process and requirements, basically online. Check the CIC website to better know the process under your category.

I saw some posts that SYRIAN REFUGEES are their priority this time.
Any views on this? Do you think our regular application will be left on the bush to give way to refugees,

Yeah as of now they are prioritizing Syrian refugees but I think they still process regular applicants just like how they process previous regular applicants. you're right its not enjoyable, but we don't have a choice. but to wait and wait and wait.

Hi Param, glad to know they already got your package!

Mine, I have to wait for the studio from PHILS to send our resized and stamped photos (50-70mm)
We are in PAPUA now, so it might take a week to get here thru DHL.

Once I got the pics I will send it with the NEW Generic Form.

Lol, yeahh i think so. You can also track on ehat post you have replied before. Just see tab on top of page it says profile . Just press that tab and then on new page it will show your profile and on that you just see on left side of page it show option show post and when you click that one and it will show you all old post you replied too.
And this page is better because tracking for nov and dec will be better.

September applicants who got AOR last nov receiving their MR since Monday.

But they just received my package this DEC-3, I might receive AOR sometime in FEB.

yup im also paper based.

Yes that's the link where we can check the status of our application. as soon as we got our AOR after 1 week we can try to check it in that link..

Just a pondering thought....

"IF" I got a JOB OFFER from a Canadian Employer, will my application to CIC be faster???

What do you think? And how are we going to inform CIC? Will they expedite the papers that has a job offer with it?

minimum of 3 months, so expect ur AOR before January ends..
