While doing your landing the officer will ask your current work permit, and if your "lovely" employer notice that you quit, so your work permit will be rejected. That is how the officer on the border will catch you. I do not recommend you to play in this game.

What signs are you looking for specifically?

Time from Application to PPR is fairly consistent within the same VO

i said its on few occasions they do this, very rare, it depends on how your employment stuff is, but quiting a job and working somewhere else will not affect the processing, you are inland applicant now, y are you afraid, come on, they may ask and they may not ask, no need to tell them this, if they need, they will send this during your medical request to update your employment history

Only for people who has no restriction of employment and is working under Open Work Permit.

Quitting while PNP PR is in application has two implication
1. Restriction of employment means the nomination is contingent on the job. If you quit, or laid off or fired, that also means the nomination is revoked
2. Closed WP means you are authorized to work for a specific employer for a specific NOC code until the expiry date. If you work for another employer that is not listed on the Closed WP, that's straight up illegal employment.

I know but you need to wait at least 5 months after you MR to get the PPR (deadline 16 months). Because after MR + 30 days to send the MR, they will probably look at your case and they will transfer your file to CPC-Ottawa for security and final review. Look at September and October applicant that they received MR in June and July, still waiting for PPR. I think we should prepare yourself for around 20ish months.

I think the October applicants who received MR already are early October applicants.

The other October applicants who received MR last week are mid-October applicants.

So, I guess CIC delayed 1 month for PNP applications between early and mid October applicants, which resulted in a situation that the processing time became 16 months.

Now, that is why I guess November applicants' turn is next month. It might take 12 months for MR from now on.

I have a question...I am from Pakistan and I applied for PR in last December'2015, I haven't got any medical request yet and I am planning to visit back home in January. If I got the medical request during my visit then can I give my medical test in Pakistan directly or will I have to go through some documentation? I applied with my spouse and she is already in back home.

You can do it in any listed Panel Physician anywhere in the world. its the same.

I've got a same plan. I'm visiting my family in South Korea in November where I'm expecting to get MR.

I think that as long as you do MR through a designated panel physician, it should be ok

check your country's panel physicians.
