AOR Nov 8 CEC
No BIL yet
Created a tracker account with UCI and can see BIL and background progress.
I thought you have to get/submit BIL first before you can get a tracker account?
What does the medical status show in your tracker? And did you complete your medical exam upfront?

As per IRCC,,You are required to provide your biometrics each time you apply for permanent residence, even if you’ve already submitted them for a temporary residence application.

Hello!
Submitted application: October 17th, 2024
Received the AOR: November 13th, 2024
Biometrics Instruction Letter: January 20, 2025

After I received my AOR, I applied for a TRV which required me to submit my Biometrics. I completed my Biometrics on December 31, 2024 and January 20th I received another email with instructions to submit my Biometrics. Am I required to submit my biometrics twice within this short period?

You are required to provide biometrics each time you apply for permanent residence, even if you’ve already submitted them for a temporary residence application. However, biometrics given for a PR application can be used for other applications, while biometrics submitted for a temporary residence application cannot be used for a PR application.

That's a huge bummer! Does submitting your Biometrics sooner help accelerate your application timeline or does it matter when you submit them in relation to the deadline given on the BIL?

There isn't a definitive answer to this. In some cases, it can indeed speed things up, but in others, it might be just as slow as usual. It largely depends on the complexity of the application..
