Hello everyone, I wanted to seek thoughts on this:

I wanted to ask advice on the best way to send finger prints. I am currently on my yearly vacation. So I will reach Toronto a day or so before the expiration date of the letter. RCMP system will send it to me then I have to send to IRCC, however, if I do it privately, then they send it directly to the office in Vancouver in real time correct?

Also, which email should I contact in regards to extending my fingerprints request? Should it be the IRCC office in Niagara or Vancouver as the fingerprints go there?

Thank you for your thoughts on this in advance.

Best wishes.

Reply back to the office thar sent you your finger print request.

Could anyone who has done the fingerprint request tell me how many business days it took for RCMP to send it out to IRCC? Mine is still "in process" according to the RCMP phone line, and it's been 4 business days.

Usually, it takes about four days for the RCMP to get the results out and about a week from the date they mail it to the VO. The part that varies from case to case is how fast the VO processes it and updates it in the system. Other factors also play a role, such as the efficiency of the office and the backlog of fingerprints waiting to be updated.

You can raise a web form and include the DCN you received after completing your fingerprinting. This serves as proof that you have done your fingerprinting and allows IRCC to follow up in case they haven’t received it.

Mine has been 4 days as of today, which is why I'm wondering if others have had it as long or longer.

4 days since I did it. RCMP is still processing it and hasn't mailed it. That's what I'm asking the timeline of. Prints/DCN to mailing.

According to the information provided to someone in the WhatsApp group by the Center he did his prints at, the RCMP say they aim to have the results mailed out to IRCC within 3 business days.

It should have been mailed by today or tomorrow, for DCN you should’ve received it on the same day when fingerprints were taken “ if it was done through a third party like the Commissionair”.

Received DCN same day. Commissionaires.
I know they say they aim for 3 business days, but I’m trying to find out how many it actually is.

After IRCC receive fingerprint results, do we expect that they only mark background check as complete, or do they mark background check along with prohibitions and physical presence?

Hi can someone suggest if there willl be a difference in processing timeline if finger prints are done at Commissioneries or accredited company ?
