Most of the applicants from Ontario have their applications processing at Scarborough, Mississauga or Niagara office. I got test invite from Hamilton and I live in Oakville. Is there anyone else whose application is being processed at Hamilton office?

Do you know when did RCMP sent the FP processed letter to IRCC..

I have no idea, but I received notice on my tracker that IRCC got results on Jan 17th

FP is not for all applicants., not quite sure whether its random or do have some algorithm to check on few things within the application like DOB, Name etc.. where they want to get further details of the applicant from RCMP before closing the background.

Maybe IRCC did not ask me an FP because I remember when I had my first job in Canada, the company asked me to submit a Police Certificate where I needed to visit RCMP for FP, it was an express request and I just waited for 30 minutes to have my certificate release with stamped. I paid $100 for that express request.

Oh Wow, "Express request" with RCMP !! Thats a news to me, will be informative for someone who are planning to get the FP with RCMP.

Wow that is worth the $100 given it only takes 30min. If we can send that certificate to IRCC then they can receive FP in 2 days. Just kidding.

Every time, when they do a background check if they search with more parameters they will get distinctive response which will match the exact person. It depends on the officer to use more fields to search the background history and safer for the deciding officer to have the existing finger prints match with their’s Database.

In my case, my finger print given from US Consulate during my work permit processing and when I recently did a volunteer vulnerability sector verification. The RCMP officer explained that they found another person with a conviction as their search is wider by using the first name last name and date of birth. Due to which they requested the finger print.
