Anyone informed IRCC of address change after coming to Canada on TRV while spousal sponsorship application in process? Is it a good idea to inform IRCC or we should wait for PPR and then inform them?
We updated our address through a webform no problem. You should do it asap.

my time line as follows; Dont know what to do. got the pre-arrival, no update since. sent couple of webforms, but no response. any advice.

Eligibility: Completed on 14th April 2023

Background verification: in progress since May 19, 2023. (NA in GC key, Inprogress in Tracker)

It was pretty helpful and gave some clarity to where the application is at. I would recommend doing it.
There are no definitive timelines unfortunately. Some get it soon, others get it after a lengthy period. If your application is still within the processing time, all you can do is wait.
Our background changed in gckey from NA to in progress now. Plus they sent a request letter as well to send additional items again
