Hello everyone,

Is there a reason why a minor(16) will be asked to provide finger print? The parent BG shows completed on the tracker. The finger print has been done at one of the designated offices but they said the finger print can not be mailed to IRCC because the child is a minor and it has to be mailed to the home address and the parent will mail it to IRCC themselves.

Hi there @indranil88, I've also applied from Toronto, being processed at Scarborough. I had extensive travel (3.5 months) to various countries including the US but my BG came through before my test invite (no fingerprints, uncommon name). Your application seems to have been processed at lightning speed - what gives?

Just wondering regarding renewal of Health card and driving license. I realized that my husband's health card has expired last month and when I try to renew his driving also gets renewed together as it is due in Sep 2023.

If I renew now, will it cause any issue for citizenship application. Do I have to resend the documents? Or they would not need it?

Renew it and they don't need it. No impact on your citizenship application.
