Question: is it normal that my online portal is not updated with request for fingerprints or is it updated after they receive them ?

Go ahead and submit your FP. The online tracker is riddled with glitches and issues. It should get updated at a later date... It's usually behind GCMS by 48-72h and some times even more. It's hard to trust it at times. It's unfortunate :-/

If ECAS starts working, you can get your application number on ECAS also since you are a paper applicant... There have been several reports of ECAS being down today

Yes, you'll need to create a separate account for each application number

Yes I see now updates on Tracker:

Application delivered this morning 30 Jan 2023. Now will have to wait and see what happens....I marked the envelope label in bold and yellow highlight "Re-submission of Missing documents - Original App# 18 Nov 2022".
hopefully the mailroom takes notice of that rather than it just sitting there for the next 55 days.

Hello ! Newbie here... Exact same situation as yours - Original paper application for family of 4 delivered on NOV 24 2022 with returned package on JAN 26 2023. Asked for additional ID documents for 2 kids that I attached to the package and sent back, delivered on 30 JAN 2023. Two adult applications were "deemed complete" but the whole package was sent back to us. There was no AOR or application number given either and we are still awaiting any acknowledgement or confirmation. Did you receive any update or are able to track your application somehow ? I emailed them last week but just got a standard automated reply back.

I scored 19/20 . I practiced mock tests on the app citizenship on App Store. The logo is red with white maple leaf. I wrote the test after passing 90-95% in most of test papers in the app. There are more than 20-30 tests on the app. Keep practicing .

Hi Friends, just a quick question. If we travel outside of the country while the citizenzhip application is in progress, can we enter to Canada anytime before attending the Oath Ceremony?. Basically, I want to know up until which step in the citizenship application, the PR card will be valid?

Until you take Oath, that is when you cut your PR card.
