During background check, if your name is very common or name and date of birth match other known criminals, you will be asked to provide a Finger Print to rule out your criminality

My guess is that some countries don't need biometrics while processing PR but some do, so if they have it on file from PR process they may not get it again but those who didn't would get it

Same, hopefully if it ain't a system update, we might see either BG Complete or Test invitation in the next few days. This can take anywhere between 3 days to 3 weeks

You are the first one to get Test invite from Nov minus the urgent applicants. Looks like now Online Applicant will be ruling the show. Best of luck for your test.

Just Got an Update Today which is Saturday.

~ Citizenship Application: ONLINE - Single.
~ Location: Montreal, QC.
~ Sent: November 05, 2022.
~ Application Received: November 05, 2022.
~ AOR: November 21, 2022.
~ Scheduled for Citizenship Test: January 28, 2022.
~ Test Window is: February 10, 2022 to March 02, 2023.

NOTE: Background Verification is still in Process.

1. All pages of passport for paper applications
2. {Passport, Health Card} or {PR card, health card}.
Note: when using PR card second ID should be issued by a Canadian Gov. (provincial or federal)

Looks like it is going by AOR based.. whosoever got AOR in Nov are getting regardless Online from Nov or Paper from Sep or Oct...so based on how quick AORs are coming for online the trend is changing for faster application it is now going to be online vs. paper as they get AOR sooner

Many people switched to Paper from Online seeing the paper processing outpacing online ones during the first half of 2022. With this change people need to reevaluate how they apply in 2023.
