Oh boy!!! yes once you send it back i hope it would be sooner than the usual wait

I hope so too. I am puzzled on how they would act on it. The letter said that i only need to provide the missing document for each child. Nothing about having to submit new application forms which are current dated. In fact the forms for both the kids had 'Received on 24 Nov' stamped on them inside the 'Official Use only' box. the same for my wife's and my application, where no changes were needed and considered complete . The forms had printed stickers/labels on them with a file number. And then you have the restriction of not accepting applications older than 90 days. When they do receive the applications it would only have about 2 weeks before it reaches the 90 day limit. Hopefully the mailroom opens it quicker and actions upon it right away.

This is weird.. They could have just asked for the missing documents instead of sending the entire package back. It just complicates the things. Did you send it back? I would suggest to print the application form again to be on safe side.

Yes, it is weird for paper applicants, not to mention costly every time you go off to staples to print documents as well as courier them. We have to wait for months for an update, and what could have easily been furnished via an email or upload through a secure link is not done.
I have already used the same forms and mailed it, as the letter from them would normally instruct you to have new forms and recalculate your physical presence. It just said to provide the missing document.
Comparatively i felt the PR processing was a breeze, as it was all online. I wonder why they cant do the same for citizenship applications for families...

No AOR. Since it is a group (family) application, we will only receive the AOR once all applications are complete. Hopefully the AOR should come in next week as they have already assigned file numbers to it.

What do you mean by file number ? Where do you get this file number from ?

That is a good sign..i think the processing is happening based on the time of AOR..regardless paper or online. For eg. if Sep applicant applied by paper and got AOR in Oct and Oct online applied and got AOR in Oct both will be moving further in the process at the same time. Recently Oct end AOR folks saw some movement. Next would be early Nov as yourself

Same, hopefully if it ain't a system update, we might see either BG Complete or Test invitation in the next few days. This can take anywhere between 3 days to 3 weeks
