Yes, it is weird for paper applicants, not to mention costly every time you go off to staples to print documents as well as courier them. We have to wait for months for an update, and what could have easily been furnished via an email or upload through a secure link is not done.
I have already used the same forms and mailed it, as the letter from them would normally instruct you to have new forms and recalculate your physical presence. It just said to provide the missing document.
Comparatively i felt the PR processing was a breeze, as it was all online. I wonder why they cant do the same for citizenship applications for families...
