It seems like you didn’t have to go through the fingerprints process ..that’s why it was ‘’quicker’’ for you!! For the rest of us, who has to go through the fingerprints process are still waiting for the citizenship test..

You"re probably right! I was never asked to submit fingerprints. I have no clue why some applications require fingerprints while other don't.

Not sure about my Office. But in test email it was saying Surrey.. SO not sure its Surrey office or Vancouver Office.

What did you say to them? I sent one before, but got nothing (I am afraid I said things I shouldn't have said, and now they are punishing me)!! I also sent a webform (in which I was polite and asked for an update), also nothing! What's your timeline, by the way?

I sent the webform about a month ago being polite.
I sent this complaint being harsh.. saying how can you ignore 2019 and give certificates to 2021 applicants.. people future decisions matter on citizenship etc etc

OK, so, I sent something similar. It's a complaint feedback, so, I figured they don't expect us to compliment them. Is your DM close to 4 months by any chance? I have a suspicion that they target DM close to 4 months for the oath if the BG is valid for longer than 4 months. Otherwise, they schedule it earlier before the BG expires. We try to formulize these guys

Thanks. So, indeed from DM to oath is about 4 months, and your "new" BG check expires probably around March 2022, because the first one expired around March 2021 and a new one was conducted. Their announced target between DM and oath is 4 months, and it seems that's what they are doing, unless your BG check expires soon after DM, in which case you are likely to be scheduled for the oath sooner.

Hello, I just moved to Windsor from Montreal, does anyone know if changing address will make any delays or is it better off having Windsor office work on the file rather then Montreal since there hasn’t been any updates from them.

I moved one year ago to Vancouver and even though I asked 1 year ago to transfer my file, they ignored my request and is still in the Mississauga Ontario jungle. You Definitely must update your address but it doesn't mean your file will be transfer automatically. Cheers.

I was hoping to receive the citizenship test before September since my first FP was done last year in September, but yes I guess will have to submit another FP, but can I submit the fingerprints before their request to save couple of months, or do I have to wait for official letter?

Email the Vancouver office and ask them if your first FP is still valid. They will ask you for the 2nd FP for sure. My background status was changed from "Completed" to "In progress". I knew they will ask the 2nd FP. I did my 2nd FP two weeks ago before I receive FP request. I asked the agency to send it to my address. I received the request last week and the FP result was sent to my address and I forwarded it to IRCC. They received it today, and I am waiting to see if they approve it. I have seen other did the same thing and got the BV "Completed".

Has anyone noticed the finished August 2019 almost in 2 weeks. Last week it was up to 8 August 2019, and yesterday they updated it to 18 to 24 August 2019. They seem to pick up speed
