I did ask it to be expedited at the ceremony because I was thinking of travelling for Christmas but they rejected it and said because I didn't have any tickets booked yet for travel so they cannot approve an expedited request. I didn't contest it.

So, IRCC plays games with us: last week they skipped from Aug 8 to Aug 24 as the applications they are finalizing, which gave the illusion that they process files faster now. Today the update didn't move the date forward and remain at Aug 24

Yes, but what the notes say? Many files are being processing in Sydney even if the test invites come from local offices. I suspect that those whose files are in Sydney suffer the most because they process files centrally.

Got oath update on the website this morning. November 23. No emails as of yet. Scheduled for December 8th!!

Also I had applied for Gcms notes about a month ago in hopes they’d at least touch my file. Went on the cic site to check status of citizenship around 10 am to see I was scheduled for oath , then shortly after got the notes in my email at like 12. Not sure if it’s correlated or not

I finally received my invitation to the citizenship ceremony! It will take place on Dec. 3. I am so grateful to God for this.

Big day for Kitchener Office people from what I can see above! I also received a notification via tracker that my oath is December 15th. Today is my two year anniversary of their receipt of my application and American Thanksgiving! Very thankful this will all be over soon!
