Thank goodness the VFS in my country (Sri Lanka) is finally open. This means the back logs will be clearing little by little. Atleast that's a step towards receiving PPR given Canada slowly opens up its services as well.
good to know, also from Sri Lanka FSW-O AOR-Jan though

Yes, your application has been approved. Congratulations!!

As regards COPR and PPR email, you will have to wait until the IRCC VO opens up in your country of residence. Only then they will send out an email asking you to submit the passport for PR visa and COPR.
Thanks a lot. Appreciate your support always. :)

Thanks.
I am from India. I got few emails that there is a delay in the processing and then a survey email today. No other emails yet.
I believe people who are the getting the survey are the ones with approved application but no PPR/COPR yet.

Would like to suggest if we write to the immi minister requesting him to at least provide any status or any future plan, that the government is considering for outland applicants, as the outland applicants are going through lot of anxiety and stress due to the delay in PPR, some of them are way past eight month mark. I know that in this covid time delays are bound to happen, but at least they must provide some plan, so that the applicants should know that they will be processed in a certain way and any expected time frame.

Don’t do this man, covid has slowed down everything . Even if you get PPR n come to Canada , you won’t find any job - everything is closed. Let them work at their pace, it has hit hard everyone. They have their timelines n analysts

I believe that's not fair just because you are already in Canada (temporary or permanent). There outlanders like myself starting a business soon as we land in Canada that creates employment for Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents. What is your say to this?

Not everyone here is trying to find a job in Canada but create 100's of employment opportunities instead.

Hey guys! I'm in the same boat as you. Received my COPR letter on June 8th and mailed my documents to Montreal on June 9th. My delivery status says "date pending" and my package appears to be stuck in Mississauga.
An update:

Just got a notification from Canada Post that my package is out for delivery in Montreal. Finally!

Delivery back to you? so your pr card has been processed and they are sending it back to you? please confirm.
No sorry - this the package I mailed to Montreal with my COPR and picture. It's just on it's way to them. They haven't received my documents yet.

Applied for GCMS notes on 4th June and received them today- that was really fast-
this is the exact timeline per the notes-

ITA: 30 October 2019

AOR: 26 Nov 2019

Medical Passed: 12 Dec 2019

Criminality Passed: 9 March 2020 -they ran fingerprint in some database- that has the USA on it- probably they might have verified with the US for any criminal background, anyways I don’t know what that is. BTW this was for Police Certificates provided from Home Country and RCMP.

Security n Eligibility Pass: 9 April 2020

Application transferred from Edmonton to Ottawa: 9th April 2020

Final status Approved: 3 June 2020.

what I see is that the officer printed COPR in April-there is a document issuance number - and they haven't emailed or mailed the COPR yet, and the document was issued on 9th April and expires on 9th September. Has anyone come across this?
