Not a good day for me. . Received rejection today. .. AOR 25 nov.. .mep/bil was not received.Reason of rejection as follows..

I was in China for more than 6 months n left tht country on 25july2011 n this year i got my pcc for EE.. But pcc mention date up to July 1st 2011 (last date of training for which I went) ....i thought since it's issued after I left tht country n never visited there again so would be accepted but cic didn't not think same way..

Now will try to get new pcc...

Is this the general norm for all Chinese PCCs, or was this peculiar to your case?

Good to keep up with others timelines! Ours is AOR 18th November, no other updates as of yet. Hopefully medicals will be passed very soon!! 4 outland applicants, through NSNP via ee.

The medicals are passed within the 2-5 weeks of getting AoR.

Hi Guys, I am new to the group. I received ITA in CEC and my closed WP is based LMIA. system asks 2 documents -- Job offer and 'Employment confirmation letter'

If any of you have claimed 50 points for arranged employment, can you please clarify? Appreciate your response.

[1] My current Job offer (received in 2018) says employment is valid for indefinite period. Will that letter work?

[2] If employer make changes to the current Job Offer to mention employment will be at least 1 year after PR granted, the date on letter will be Dec'2019 but joining date in 2018. Will that be any issue?

[3] The job offer does not have mention of job duties (I guess the case with most of the people), Is it okay not mention on Job offer but mention on the 'employment confirmation letter'? Employer may not add job duties on Job offer letter since that's not the standard process.

1. Yes, but make sure it states that it is an ongoing and continuous employment. You can explain this in the LoE.
2. Your employer can provide you with new employment documents, irrespective of when you joined. however, I doubt if your employer will provide you with any time frame beyond your wp.

3. Yes. You can get the job duties as a job confirmation letter, which can be signed by the HR, or your supervisor. . Also explain this in LoE.

It is a supporting documents and you should, unless the terms and conditions of your contract have changed.

Terms are same, just the joining date is changed. The offer letter submitted during the LMIA had a tentative start date from 2017 but It took some time to get WP done. Actual start date is in Canada in 2018 which is mentioned on a current letter. How would officer know job offer is based on LMIA if only current one is uploaded?

IRCC has the record of all your applications and visas. Just by entering your UCI they will have all the details. However, you can mention it in your LoE.
