That's right my file was transferred after sending both medical and additional documents.
They asked me to submit Proof of Sponsor Residency evidences in canada since application been submitted. I am guessing it is because I visited my family for 3 weeks after submitting the application.
If you don't mind can you please share what kind of additional docs they requested.
As a proof, they asked for Bank/credit card statements(Nov-March), Flight tickets, passport with stamped pages, Call records, rent agreements and payments, Insurance payments, Employment recipts, utiliy bills and additional any docs that can prove that I was here in canada after submitting application.
Our wedding pictures where we are signing marriage certificates and pictures from pre and post wedding functions where we (my husband and I )
I dont think it binds sponsor to leave country ( unless ) gone for a long time . Having said that it is also important for sponsor to have completed residency obligation and not have long gaps being in and out of Canada.. Can you advise of your time line with you travels along with how ,long you have been a resident ? That will throw some light
I was in india for 3.5 weeks after we submitted the application. this shouldn't matter.. btw I am already eligible to apply for citizenship...
That is good. of course being away for a short time has no bearings on spousal visa approval. Also,This thread has more of Nov 2018 applicants
