If you're checking ECAS and not getting anything don't worry, as mine didn't work with the receipt number. It lets me in now with the UCI / Application number.
I'm trying every day and nothing :). Just waiting nothing else. Good luck with everything and hope its a fast process

If you're worried at all, give them a call on a Thursday / Friday. They calmed my nerves by letting me know it was definitely there.

You can call for free via this method:

  • Dial 0333 232 3232 (This is a company called Zipcall and will come out of your minutes from your call plan)
  • Then dial + 1 613 944 4000
  • Let the automated message go through and then when it gives options just choose the immigration options.
  • You'll then be diverted to the +1 888 242 2100 number.
  • Choose options 2-1-1-0.
Hopefully, after that, you'll get through to a queue. However, you may need to call back a few times.

Check how much calls to 0333 numbers cost on your pay as you go tariff before you call them. Also, if you've got a landline, it should be free, but again, just double check.

Your applications coming along nice. Have you decided where you're going to go for your biometrics yet?

I'm going to do it in London - i booked an appointment yesterday. Overall I think it will be easier as I'd hate for there to be any issues at the border for some reason. Going to hopefully do my medical here though :)
