November 2018 Outland Applicants (Spousal Sponsorship)

Question: if I missed something on the app and they are asking me to send them over, after I send them will I be back in the que? Or they will proceed with the application?

Have they asked you to upload it via the web form?

If it's not being returned to you then that's good news. You'll probably have a bit of a wait but nothing like them returning it and resubmitting.

I'm still waiting for medical request and so forth. I only see BGC and in retrospect, it may be because my husband and I previously applied for PR application but we withdrew it as we did not qualify for Conjugal Sponsorship (long long story lol). I'll wait for maybe another week before trying to call to see what gives. :rolleyes:

Don't worry. I got AOR1 earlier than you, still no changes after that. It's random I guess. Some are getting requests right away, some have to wait more than a month after AOR1.

This will be our life for next few months, waiting patiently expecting something to happen. But it will happen eventually :-) I think we all need to practice patience, before moving to Canada. so that's why they are doing things slowly

Our time lines are similar. We haven't heard anything back as well.
 
Thanks for the reassurances everyone!

I think I expect it to be quicker just because we did use Mississauga rather than Sydney before and for us it was very quick, literally communication almost every week (AOR 1, SA, medical, at the time they were still requesting police check in the later part of the application, etc). I just worry that the old application is interfering somehow with the new application even though we withdrew it and everything is still factual.

I'll just wait and hope we get something soon too!

All we can do is wait. Sometimes the reason for delays is nothing at all. I had that experience during my own PR application process. Just down to the Visa office. Sometimes they just take their sorry time for no apparent reason. Went through my GCMS notes and found absolutely nothing to warrant my PR application exceeding the 6 month mark.

Hey guys, my application was received on 15 of Nov, I managed to link it through the GCKey but no AOR yet, so I'm worried, what should I do?
 
Am unable to link my application on Gckey
I tried putting 2 in number of applicants
And used application number with family name
But still unable to link

But ecas is showing in process.

My question is, is there any particular method we should follow while we are linking our application on Gckey??

Do you have any dependants, even non-accompanying? Mine worked after a few attempts and playing with the dependant's number.
