Still NOTHING on our end. MP called twice and both times they said all is well and on last step (whatever that means) In December they said around mid Jan and two weeks agon they said early Feb!!!! :-(

Hello! I have a doubt and maybe someone here could know something about it... the thing is, my initial open work permit was about to expire, and I still didn’t have my PR, so I decided to apply to extend it. Two days After I sent the application, I received the landing letter and then I landed in mtl.. does anyone know what’s going to happen with the OWP extension app? Can I cancel it or is it just going to be refused? Thanks!!

When did you apply?!?!
They'll reimburse your extension for the OWP. If they don't, you can request it provided it hasn't started to be processed.

You applied in November 2018 too and still waiting? My background check started last year in Feb. (2019). Which is the country of origin? Have you contacted your MP? I sent web forms every week since February...
