I live on PEI.....I have been waiting since early September for invite. They had 2 oath ceremonies in late October (but I did not receive an invite to either). Apparently they don’t do any more oath ceremonies on PEI until May timeframe. I offered to drive to Nova Scotia or New Brunswick, but they said that until I received my invite, I could not change my location.

Same to me. I live in Sherbrooke, 2 hours from Montreal, I also said that I could go there, but the agent told me to wait for the invite.

Seems a little crazy, doesn’t it? Especially when I’m willing to drive (4 hours each way) rather than having to wait a total of 18 months instead.

I Called IRCC today morning and was told that my status of citizenship application updated as of yesterday 10:30 that I am ready for the rest but need to wait for test invite anytime soon.
Did anyone had experience? And how many days you think I need to wait?
It’s MISSISSAUGA office.
I applied on 22nd Nov 2018
In process Jan 30th 2019

Also did anyone pass the test and decision made same time with oath ceremony date scheduled from Mississauga office?

Received the test invite today for Nov. 26. But I'll be out of the country so I guess I'll have to ask them to defer the test!

Any thoughts?

Update: I called up CIC and they told me that I should email them asking for re-scheduling of the test. This way, I will retain my 3 attempts at the test. So I emailed them. I had already informed them of my absence via web form last week.

I called this morning and had a very similar reply. Application dated 27 November. The file is in Mississauga office and waiting for a test date to be scheduled. But no specific time frame.

I called a week ago and same thing its been test ready since july 02 and people who applied after me are getting invites but in my case i am still waiting lets see how long more it takes

anytime between a day and six months.

Kid's status is still progress (hope this is normal??)
