Hi Guys, today I got a scamm call from a fake Government Agency saying that my NAS was involved in a Fraud. I was so scared. Please, do not give your Social Insurance Number (SIN) or numéro d'assurance sociale (NAS in French) any personal info to scammers. Read this news, if you have doubts of this type of calls contact Canada Fraud Department or the Police.

Application date November 27. No change on status. Location Mississauga. Waiting with no option

Hoping everyone gets test/oath ceremony invites soon!! I just found out today (even though I have been awaiting oath ceremony invite since early September), that it will most likely be May before I get my invite

How did you find that out? And any specific reason for such delay?

I live on PEI.....I have been waiting since early September for invite. They had 2 oath ceremonies in late October (but I did not receive an invite to either). Apparently they don’t do any more oath ceremonies on PEI until May timeframe. I offered to drive to Nova Scotia or New Brunswick, but they said that until I received my invite, I could not change my location.

Invitation received Yesterday. Exam and interview scheduled on nov 29 . PLease update the spreadsheet!

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 9, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 21, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on January 29, 2019.

I'm waiting for Oath Ceremony invite since May 16th, 2019(since Decision Made) (I'm Nov 5 2018 applicant). I called today to CIC, they told me "the Montreal office is waiting to have a bigger number of applicants (ready to take the Oath in Sherbrooke, QC, in order to send a Minister to perform the Ceremony".
So, I have to wait till that. I told her that I'm welling to go to Montreal if need it! But well, I will have to wait. I'm just glad that everything looks right.
