Hey Guys, One of my family member received AOR in feb-19 for the application submitted on Nov-18, But no communications after that its still in process and have not got any test date. Question, is this normal to have no updates for so long?

Yes. Just check ECAS (google ECAS) for confirmation that nothing happened after AOR.

Lots of processing going on in the sep 2018 thread.

As someone sent the link to the news earlier (i cannot remember the link or user, could someone resend it) , Scarborough office has had a directive to start a pilot of processing applications on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis, instead of the officers being assigned applications and when an officer queue is blocked by a complex case, his specific queue is stalled. Now it is faster for older cases but once November applications have their turn, everyone's file here should move at once.

Our application was received on the 26th of November 2018. Started processing on February 7th 2019. Nothing has changed ever since and shows in process. Can anyone help me understand how the process works. Getting a bit anxious now. Thank you

Nope most of us are from Mississauga office so it will be long time before it goes beyond in process

Mississauga is the worst place to process our Citizenship application, compare with Alberta
