Not really... R10 was already passed when I called on Nov 20 but background did not start soon after I passed R10. I moved to IP2 on Dec 12.That means your BG check started almost after your AOR ?

For India, usually its New Delhi Visa Office and passports are usually submitted at nearest VFS centre in your citySo anyone from November found out which VO is processing your application?
May I ask if it changed from "Not Applicable"?AoR Nov 15th. Today passed MEP.
My background check message says:
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
What is this stage? IP1? Or is it going to change soon? I read that in IP1 it should say: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
That I don't remember, I guess it was always We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.May I ask if it changed from "Not Applicable"?
Just like mine, except the biometrics. So, the background one will change into something else soon or what?Hey ,
AOR November 12th ,
MEP December 12th ,
Biometrics December 17th ( today )
this is what my application looks like now
tbh i have no idea , i was telling my self that maybe they begin with BG for applicants from biometric needed countries , doesn't seem the case since you don't need biometricsJust like mine, except the biometrics. So, the background one will change into something else soon or what?
Depends , you do if you are a PNP applicant , or if you're using it to prove something ( relative in canada , gift deed from parents ..)Hi, do we need to provide birth certificate to cic or no?
Thanks for your reply, I didn’t uploaded my birth certificate although I’m pnp applicant, I hope so it wouldn’t be a problem or cic might ask later on.Depends , you do if you are a PNP applicant , or if you're using it to prove something ( relative in canada , gift deed from parents ..)
I was under the same impression too. That is shocking Need to hear the details on this case.Ugh, saw this awful post in the September thread just now. Not very encouraging. I was under the impression that they usually don't reject after 2-3 months. The poor guy got a rejection after waiting 100 days

I know a case where a rejection happened after 6 months . Some guy thought he did not have to show POF amount and so did not provide bank letter and it took six months to reject for incomplete documentation.Ugh, saw this awful post in the September thread just now.
