Called Cic today. Managed to speak to an agent she said the VO is Montreal. She said nothing has started- eligibility, criminality and security.
AOR is 1 st November. Still in IP1.
Not sure if it’s a standard reply or actually nothing has started.

Montreal is right now the slowest VO

How can you guys from India or other hot places move to Canada? I am sick and tired of cold and snow. I thought we were going to get spring soon, but no! This freaking snow keeps falling, ughhh.

It's warm here alright, but the clean air makes all the doffdiffer which is rare in Indian cities...

I have similar timeline as yours. NDVO's current trend is 150 -170 days from AOR.
Let's expect PPR after March.

There's really no need. The fact that your employer's contact info changed doesn't affect your CRS score. Moreover, every time you update your information, the processing time of your application increases.
So your agent is right. You probably would be better off keeping things as is.

You need to be in Canada for raising GCMS by yourself. Otherwise it should be done by someone whom you know residing in Canada and you need to provide Authorization. If you are neither in Canada nor having friends there, use getgcms or gcmsbuddy with a service charge. They will raise it on your behalf.

Hi, i am AOR 29 nov, fsw-outlant.. i have cleared my medical on 10 jan and received an automatic message about finding jobs in canada on 18 jan. My application status for BGC still says ‘we will message you once we start your bgc’. Is everyone stuck on the same status.

You will get some info. But its not complete as GCMSs. Depending on the agent you get, they may only read the status that is shown to you on your profile or may provide some information regarding the local office etc. most of the time they may not mention about review required notes put on by the review officers (I guess these notes are not available to them).
From GCMS notes you will get over 100 pages (some times 200 pages !) of information regarding each step of your application and the comments from the officers about your application.
