How are some people getting test and oath ceremony same date? Is this from urgent processing or just luck?

From what I've noticed, people who live a significant distance away from the nearest local CPC or regional itinerant service are invited to take the test and oath on the same day. Also, so far, I've only seen Calgary and Edmonton offices do this. It has nothing to do with urgent processing or luck.

Ah, yeah that makes sense. Ft Mac peeps probably go to Edmonton for their ceremony. I knew some one from Lac La Biche who had to go to Edmonton for their ceremony.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 9, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on February 17, 2018.

IT is most likely a fingerprints request. Many are now going through this. Keep an eye on your mailbox. It comes by post. You need to submit the fingerprints. Take the document you get along with.

FP request process takes about max 10 days to get completed. Assuming no delays. If you don't hear any movement from CIC them do follow up after three weeks.
