I think we should see some this Friday and most probably from Monday 18th Dec onwards..I hope to see the AOR thing light up for November applicants before the Christmas break.

Yea, as my understanding they are only closed official holidays in Novia Scotia, which are Dec 25th and New Year Jan 1st. They might not be working at full capacity, but they are still working, so they don’t take a long break.
Again this is my understanding.....

AoR is handed out from the central intake office, right? I don't think it has anything to do with your province/region... Once processing starts, your local office will matter.

Nice! With drastically increased volume in Oct/Nov, they're still on pace with <1.5 months for AoR. A good sign for sure.

Did you write your name at the back of photo? you are supposed to do that; they might return your application if you haven't.

I haven't written my name on the back of photo but I printed my name label and affixed in front of envelope that has my photos. I think that should work but again based on officer's discretion.

If it's a single applicant, then writing your name on the back does not seem to matter. Many got AOR despite not writing their names on the back. Not to say, that some officer might still return it, but very low chance based on people's experience in the past.

If it's a family application, then the story is a bit different. If you put all the photos together without paper clipping them to each family member's application, then for sure, it's a return.

In both cases, photos absolutely need to be stamped and dated by the Studio. No exceptions on this.
