Bukayo and dp0716,

I am not sure. I've been reading previous posts about voluntarily sending in more proof and learned that it didn't harm the app in any way. But now that there's a photo limit, I guess it's safe to say that we should just wait until they ask for it. Though personally, I like to send more proof along with my new NBI PCC should they ask for it again.

That will be better. We should just wait for their request.

Thanks!

hi prvc,
i just wanna ask your opinion about my husbands upfront medical results.im a sept applicant and both my cic and ecas doesnt state that they received a copy of his medicals. Nationwide Health Systems Inc. in Baguio City sent me an email of his medicals the same date they received my app Sept21,2016.My husband had it done sept 6th and according to the copy theyve sent me it was sent to CiC sept 8,2016.should i worry about it not reflecting to our app status cause after AOR2 and file transfer last Nov3 no update from them since..thanks for answering.

Have you ordered your GCMS notes?

All I know is that provincial panel physicians have a delay in uploading the medical. But don't worry about it. You can call CIC's hotline and ask if they received his medical already. Maybe they already have it but haven't reviewed it yet. As long as you sent the medical upfront with the eMedical sheet, you have nothing to worry about. Sometimes there is just a significant delay in ECAS and myCIC that cause us to worry a bit.

i have not ordered yet cause i think its still early but thanks for answering guess they have not reviewed it yet or its just a delay on the system.yes we sent a copy of the eMed sheet in the application package that we submitted so i just have to wait and wait.
thanks alot.

If you can wait a bit more, you can order your notes on the 3rd of February. Your app in MVO is 3 months old by that time.

yes i guess ill wait for our app to mature..i guess not hearing from them makes me feel anxious.my mind debates from thinking that not hearing anything other than AOR2 is a good sign or not hearing from them till now means that they havent assessed our application yet.. so ill just have to wait and pray for a smooth process.thank you for answering though.its a great help.Godbless in your application as well.☝☝☝

I still haven't received an update yet.

I emailed the Visa office in Colombo 2 weeks ago.. twice.. but they haven't replied back. I don't want to keep emailing them. I just hope everything is okay.. I just don't understand why they won't reply saying anything. Not even a medical request. ):

I was thinking it was because I didn't ask my spouse to do the medicals in the beginning because the staff at the Colombo hospital said that it's only valid for 3 months (which was wrong, medicals are valid for a whole year). But can't do anything about it now anyways. I just want everything to be okay.

My wife did it at the beginning but we are the same! Our status is in depend on the officers decision!

Hi I just gave birth last Jan 5. Do you know how will I do the "Add On" that the IRCC is requiring? I already notify them about me giving birth. I am the sponsor and our newborn is Canadian Citizen

Does anyone know if your background check expires before they approve it will they ask for a new one?

Here in the US, it takes 3 months for the FBI to get you a background check. Just wondering if I should order another NOW just in case the one they have expires before they get to it. That way I can send in the new one right away instead of waiting another 3 months. OR, if I order a new one now, does it negate the one they have?

Hope all is well for everyone. Trying to be patient!
Have a great day!

hi, congratulation and god bless him/her inshallah

actualy you do not need to write to CIC about the new born since HE/she is canadian citizen they have nothing to do with it, but it is just good to proof that your mariage is real ... BUT YOU NEED TO ASK FOR HIM/HER A CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE. so here you need to go to canadian ambassy in Manila to apply for the certificate so then they will send to canada to register your new born and send you back the citizenship certificate.... then return to the ambassy to ask for his/her Canadian passport

What matters is the time it arrives at CIC initially, I believe. I got mine in June, and CIC did not request a new one from me. However, if you're a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you can use a channeler, which would have cut that three month wait time down to as little as about five minutes (depending on which channeler you use).
