Was your application in process for background check? could you tell me when you receive the PPR email? I mean the time (Easter time). Did they waive your interview? Is your myCIC and ECAS changed to DM or still is in processing?

if you are sponsoring your spouse, filled out the forms and picked to live in Québec, she will need the CSQ to be approved by the VO. and now the MIDI takes 11 or 12 weeks to treat a CSQ of a sponsorship application

I am currently in Alberta and my spouse application is under process at VO.
I will be moving to Montreal in couple of months. DO I need to submit this certificate?

Yes as I've filled the spreadsheet before my background check went to in progress in December 21st. I have recieved the PPR email today at 1:36 Pm (Iran time) and yes the interview was waived. Still no updates in ECAS (in process) and myCIC (open).

Yes as I've filled the spreadsheet before my background check went to in progress in December 21st. I have recieved the PPR email today at 1:36 Pm (Iran time) and yes the interview was waived. Still no updates in ECAS (in process) and myCIC (open).

You are so lucky. My background check not started yet but our application time processing is the same with 3 days differences. I hope that I get PPR soon.

Cos we have almost the same time line (AOR on 8th December and started processing on 14th December and BC on 22th Dec except for App received for me 21 Nov versus 16th yours!). I wish to hear great news very soon. Just I'm wondering if there is no update on your statuses in both mycic and ecase. I keep my hope base on your PPR time to get it perhaps in the next week! Although I lived 1 year in Canada in 2014 and I thought it can have effect on my BC time! longer than yours!

I know there is usually a delay in ECAS.. But on the sponsor side, it is still "In Process" up to now, although my hubby already received his SA on November 30, 2016. Should I be concerned or this is just fine? Thanks!

Mine still shows In Process for the sponsor even though my husband got SA in October. I wouldn't worry too much.

Update:

My PR hubby just left for Canada after a month of vacation here in the Philippines, and fortunately, we didn't hear anything from CIC about him leaving Canada. So, all's good. ;D ;D

For me, I just left Canada for a three week visit. I hate to leave my family. Hoping to be approved the soonest possible time.

Wow! Happy for you! Are you planning to voluntarily send in more proof of relationship now that you recently visited your family? Or you can just wait for them to ask for more?

I'm actually anticipating a new NBI request as it's expiring on the 5th of February., and I plan to submit more proof (let's say, max 20 photos) if ever they ask for the new NBI.

Thanks. If they will request additional documents, I will send additional 20 photos max also. As for your NBI, better to apply now so that it will be ready if they ask so.

I don't actually know if it's gonna cause delay in the app or what.. That's why I'm asking too. ;D ;D Previously, this was okay with the old app kit. Now that we have the new kit, I am not so sure. So opinions regarding this matter is highly encouraged.
