Try what I did.. Enter PA's Place of Birth according to the PA's Generic Application. Enter all Passport details.

I just tried but still no luck ( i will try it again tomorrow thanks.

I got an email from CIC saying that they have received my application and gave me the UCI. Is this an AOR? does this mean my app is complete? Or it just means that they received it.

For me ,still no application was found its been 8 days since we've passed our application . I will just keep on trying

They received it Nov 8.
My VO is Lebanon.

Do I need to open an account to be able to view the app status and so worth? Because i tried to check my app status dorectly through the site it wouldnt go through.

You might as well , now you had youre AOR you can now access on your account on mycic. They received mine nov 7 i hope we are next . If God's permit .

How are we going to know if the application is being returned?

Im not sure but i've seen from the other posts that they will returned the application by mail . They will not send you any email just to let you know that it will send it back to you .

Hi,

Our application was received by CIC - January 15, 2016
Acknowledge of receipt receives - Feb 26, 2016
Started processing our Application - Feb 26, 2016

On my husband part.

They started processing hi paper - March 28 2016
Medical result have bee received - No specified dates when they received it


He went for his medical examination last May 26 2016.


Last Oct 21 2016. He receives a letter about Pre-arrival services before arriving in canada.
NO PASSPORT REQUEST LETTER.
NO UPDATES UP TO NOW.


Please enlighten me with regards our application, I emailed Manila Visa Office I don't get any updates for the progress of our application.
It's turning 10 months now.

Yes, unfortunately.

The first major error on our app was that one of the signatures had an incorrect date. The file was made/validated on Oct.20, and signed Oct.13. It should have been October 31. The date won't make sense if they took notice of that.

Second error, I forgot to write my job title, I've only written "Employed." This, I suppose would be okay since I can send them an updated app when I have my UCI number.

Just think positive just hope and pray they will give you some consideration
