I have 1 child do I still need to type 2 to check mycic?

I have a dependent and I ended up linking when I tried 1, after having tried 2 and 3 for quite a while before that with no success.

So what did you do to check your application?

Basically played whack-a-mole for a couple weeks until I hit on the right combination. I happened to see a post one day that suggested trying 1 for the number of applicants and that nailed it. Otherwise, my plan was to wait until I received AOR1 and then contact CIC support to find out why I was unable to properly link.

Hey guys, I sent my application on Monday, November 7th on Express mail. They received it on the same week; Wednesday, 9th November.

At CIC a person named R. Mahmood signed for it.

Do I need to do anything on my end while I wait?
I've been reading previous posts about linking my app with my spouse's. What does that mean?

I am praying for my AOR next week! :)
AOR for us soon :)

Husbands Medical is scheduled for this Friday! Hoping to send off our APP by next week! Good luck to everyone!

If the documents were received just last week's Wednesday, should I ask my spouse to start the medicals too? Or is it too early?

You didn't do an upfront medical?

No because just in case if it take longer we will have to go for medicals again if it takes longer. So we're gonna submit it when they request it.

But aren't they only valid for like 1-3 months? and if it takes longer will my spouse have to go again? That's my only worry.

Medicals are valid for a year.

I haven't received any email from CIC but I was finally able to link my application to mycic account after some trial and error. If anyone is curious I used the family info option (without app or uci number) and I left out the passport information. I don't think I did but maybe I also put a space for city of birth but I can't remember now because I tried so many options.
