i did a big mistake !!
i have forgotten to join the IMM 5562 (travels list) specific to Africans sponsored. is someone smart like me did the same mistake?

i can check my application using MyCic, but impossible to check using eCase... despite entering the application number still doesn't work.
anybody has the Magic potion ?

Hi. Sorry to hear this. Brace yourself. Your application may or may not be returned. Wait for your AOR and when you have the file number, make a CSE about your concern; you can submit the file into PDF form and mention that you can send the original once requested. If they are nice enough, they will ask you to send it to them before they transfer your file to your VO. If not, be prepared just in case they return the app and advise you to send it again once it is complete.

Quoting Officer's post:

1. SPONSOR expectation during the first step:

a. AOR1 or Application package will be sent back for lack of relevant document
b. Request for missing document or updated document - based on your spousal application
c. Medical, CIC payment, required application forms and Police report check
d. SA = Sponsor Approval email or letter

2. SPONSORED APPLICANT expectation during the second step: Shocked Shocked

e. AOR2 - from Visa Office
f. missing or updated document request - based on case to case
g. eligibility and criminality check
h. Interview - based on case to case
i. passport request for visa

I'm the PA and I was the one who received our AOR1 e-mail, actually. Sometimes there are glitches in the system.

Check all e-mail accounts used on the application for all correspondence, because you never know where stuff might show up.

Posting the steps that helped me to link my wife application to my account

1. Logged in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit space bar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. I am sponsoring my wife, no dependents.

I, myself, have been anticipating for the return of my app because of signature error. So let's brace ourselves for the inevitable.

Should they return it, though I strongly hope not, the app will be mailed to the sponsor's address. The $75 won't be refundable. But if you think that form is important, start working on it as soon as you possibly can. Good luck.
