Hi. I linked my app the moment I saw it was gone. The X was dropped.. Now I have F00000.. Then my medical is PASSED. Haha. My app has been unlinked, I guess, when they updated it. I will wait for my AOR tomorrow!

Congrats! Can u explain how did you find it online? I'm really confused. I'm a sponsor, so I go to eCas and it asking me for a document (a list to select) with a number... Which one can I use because it looks like I dont have any of them. Or I shoudl wait something in my mailbox first?

As in a passport-type photo? Or something else? I don't think I've ever read about anyone being asked to upload a digital photo before, which makes this interesting. We sent physical photos with our application.

if you linked to MY cic you will have Application number or you should have UCI number or app number sent to you by mail
otherwise can not use Ecase

use this to link to my cic to get application number it worked for me \
My CIC tip hope it will help

Type Principal applicant name full as it shows in your passport the Family name should be all in Capital Letters
FAMILY NAME
First Name Second Name Third Name (as applicable)
Date of birth

Leave place of birth blank ( city and country )

fill passport data correctly
number issue and expiry and country of passport

intended province
and city of immigration as your application
marital status
number can use 2 if no any kids for applicant and spouse

the most fact is passport data only with last name in capital letters worked for me very well hope it helps you all
about E case it works only with application number as i tried fees receipt number it never works
if you check with sponsor data will give you details of sponsorship application and principal applicant plus ability to edit address of sponsor
if use data of applicant will show only data of applicant

to be able to check your application using MyCic,you have to open an account... follow the next link and clin on "continue to GCkey" and you have just to follow the insructions
and once you have opened an account, loggin and look for "LINK MY APPLICATION TO MY ACCOUNT" here you have to use the sponsored person informations
go with this if you stuck i will drive you through

I don't know what's going on with my application because until now I couldn't linked to mycic ; ( very frustrating. . All I can do is to wait wait wait until cic will send me an email. I do hope and pray there's no problem or any issue in our application.

We also can't link to our application. It is very frustrating! What is your visa office? The government website says processing times for us are 10 months including 27 days for sponsor approval. If we reach 27 days and still can't link and still don't have any communication from cic, I'll be contacting them. We're on day 12 now. I've seen that other people with our visa office got AOR1 after 24 days. So I'm expecting to hear something around then.
