Have you tried enter the last name capital letters and use only passport info and try with number 2 or 1 in number of persons if not work mean still not in system but can try next day
Last name and given name as passport plus passport info and if is on system now will open for you I know how it is frustrating the try until you get it linked but for me I was able to link it on same day they started processing it which was almost three weeks after sent my application

I have been having difficulty linking my account and just read your tip's about capitals and tried Name details rather then app or UCI numbers and it worked. Fantastic! Thanks!

My CIC tip hope it will help

Type Principal applicant name full as it shows in your passport the Family name should be all in Capital Letters
FAMILY NAME
First Name Second Name Third Name (as applicable)
Date of birth

Leave place of birth blank ( city and country )

fill passport data correctly
number issue and expiry and country of passport

intended province
and city of immigration as your application
marital status
number can use 2 if no any kids for applicant and spouse

the most fact is passport data only with last name in capital letters worked for me very well hope it helps you all
about E case it works only with application number as i tried fees receipt number it never works
if you check with sponsor data will give you details of sponsorship application and principal applicant plus ability to edit address of sponsor
if use data of applicant will show only data of applicant

It says "open" - which I am taking as our AOR1 (IRCC has received our app!)

Still couldn't link my application to Mycic :

I tried every possible combination that I can't recall which combination I've used so far :-[

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure that's normal. I also didn't get SA until about a week or two after that change. The SA emails are automated, so they will usually go out in batches. MyCIC is updated in a different way. If you don't see the SA after about 27 days from the time your app arrived at CIC-M, you should call them.

Please I need help friends...is anything wrong on applicant travelling to another country after submiting his application and continue living there until he get ppr or interview and send his passport from the said country ,which is not country of his origin?
Will CIC have anything to question about even the person send police check from that country but didn't change his address to CIC?

when open account on my cic will allow you to get your Application number and track your application online plus you can use the application number for e case , try linking it now and not forget the tricks and tips about capital letters and use passport data only not birth data leave both blank

Thank you! I was successful in creating a cic account, but was not able to link my applications. I need to wait 24 hours before I attempt some more lol!
