HI GUYS
is there anybody who is in same prb like me? which is : i can login and check my application only with MyCic. BUT IMPOSSIBLE TO CHECK WITH eCASE. !

Mine problem is absolutely opposite to yours one. I am able to check my ECAS but I can't link my application with my account. I try everyday using the details of my spouse and my own as well but it says "we found no application according to the details provided".

1) did you try to fill in passport informations and birth town
2) have you had your uic ?

know that the XF...... is a temporary application number and it will not work if you try to link it to your account... the thing which is working at your stage for now( and may be not coz too early) that you choose to link by selecting the choice by NAME,GIVEN NAME, DATE OF BIRTH of course we are talking about THE SPONSORED PERSON
and you must put all passeport informations, and birth town + the country.... dont leave any space.... this is what i did and hit it at the third try !

When did you file yours and when did they receive it?

I sent it on Monday the 7th this month and they received it on Wednesday the 9th, on the same week.

I'm not sure if I'll survive until my wife gets approved... going crazy here...

Btw, is the waiting period for Canadian Citizens and PRs the same or is it different?

Shipped our packet overnight and FedEx said it was signed for on Friday, Nov 4th.

No word. At all. And unable to access ECAS (using payment receipt number) or link to myCIC.

I'm pretty much convinced it's lost or being sent back. We applied common-law family sponsorship from outside Canada (USA)

Absolutely going to drive myself bonkers with this process.

it will not work any way. i read a lot out here that you must have the UCI number to be able to use eCAS... and as i said the XF000... is a temporary number not useful

exactly the same time, and same rights... except one : the citizen can sponsor even when he lives outside canada when the permanent resident can not

take it easy, everything is gonna be all right. i suggest you to read this topic from the beginning. you may find all the answers for your questions. then you will have a quiet mind...be optimist and start to fill in the spreadsheet( timeline) at the bottom of my signature...have a good one

I'm the sponsor and my wife is Principal Applicant. I'm using 2 in the box for "Number of Applicants"
