hello everyone,

I am a November applicant , got my dm last week, but still waiting for the ppr request.I called my consultant and she said she hasn't received any email yet.i also asked her who gets the email first, is it lawyer or herself.she replied its the lawyer, do you guys think they might be lying about that, maybe she hasn't checked the emails.

any help would be helpful

No she is not lying, she is going to get the PPR LETTER

I am not sure where you live in Canada. But your local immigration office usually takes appointments for landing confirmation, no need to go to the border. But it's also possible you have a long wait time in which case you can go to the border.

I am not sure about accompanying her, I will let experts reply to that.

I live in Toronto and would be going to Niagara border if I choose to.

Why would they? Each case is different, however if you have no interview and got a DM, do not worry, they will request your passport soon

I think no one from LVO got the DM. They are so slow. I wish they speed up things.

I had applied for my PR from Ottawa office on 26-Nov-2015. My police clearance for US took 4 months to arrive and I got it on April 7, 2016. My medicals and other documents had already been submitted before. My current status shows as 'In process'. Any idea how much long it's going to take for 'Decision Made' status? Thanks.

I am going through Ottawa, got my police check in April and my current status is "in process" as well! I hope we both hear some good news soon!!!

We won't know for sure till it goes live next week. I'm assuming this will take the place of GCMS notes, but it also wouldn't surprise me if it's just as useless as the current eCAS system.

As mentioned above, last week May 11th there were some PPRs for early september applicants; since then nothing else.
