Ok so im not alone!.. I never received a AOR 2 but i check on ECAS my status and it shows my assigned VO Mexico just started processing my file on April 25th....still waiting now.

eCAS showed 'in progress' starting Feb 2nd. I never received an AOR2 email. Don't expect one.

How come some people get AOR or SA sooner then others? Why are some applications approved in 4 months and other take 24+ months? Why do some people with seemingly solid cases get interview requests and others with weaker cases don't?

Your mistake is assuming that CIC is consistent. They're not.

That line "We started processing xxxx xxxxx xxxxx application on April 22, 2016" is as good as your AOR2. Rest assured your file has made it to your respective outland VO. It's been a long road for you to get there, glad it's moving for you

I received the request for additional docs last March 17, 2016. Passed them on March 23, 2016. Still waiting for passport request.

VO; New Delhi
AOR Jan 28 2016
Medicals received and decision made; May 2 2016.

Just checked my status it Decision Made but my wife haven't received any Email yet. Can anyone please tell how much it takes to receive a confirmation Email after the status on ECAS?

Expect ur SA in the mail before the week runs out. Your sponsorship Application has been approved. Otherwise, they would not have started processing the PR application.
