Just got my GCMS notes, it took 15 days from applied to received (much quicker then I expected).

Not much to see, honestly, I'm a bit disappointed. The most recent update seems to be back from February 2nd. I know I've read that the 'Due Date' doesn't mean much, but a 2017 due date still depresses me. Got a small chuckle about our viber logs being shredded, sent in something like 400 pages of 8 size font of chat logs.

I know it's not easy because I have been in that disappointed and depressed place... but everything in its own time. Take heart!

As I am traveling to Canada on 10 May using my tourist visa (ticket booked long time ago), I am thinking to submit my passport in Canada after 10 May... I am afraid I won't get the passport back on time before 10 May if I submit now in HK...

Until when your medical is valid? Usually Copr lasts until the end of medical, so make sure you will have time to land
Also, this might not be true, but also make sure they can ship it back to Canadian address. I don't know what address they have in the system, but if it us different, make sure you won't be stuck in Canada and passport and copr in other address I read similar thread recently in forum, so just be aware I don't have much info about your situation.

I understand the process once the applicant gets their PPR... but should I expect anything in the mail from the government as the sponsor... just want to be ready. So glad to be in the homestretch of the process.

I don't think so. Your job was done when you got approved as a sponsor Now the passport and Copr will be send back and your husband can land (my understanding it is usually the period until the medical is valid he will be able to land)

Once your hubby will land it will be surreal feeling I was so used to worry about this application that after landing I was still looking for things to be worried and couldn't relax for a while
