Hey no worries! Actually you might be in a better, quicker boat than me, I heard the Ottawa Office is pretty good.My Visa Office is New Delhi. My boat might take more time than yours..LOL. But yes hoping for the best! :)

honey.bunny I just my 3rd line for medical results received! Hopefully you will soon too :)

When your app is with the VO are the e-mails still sent to the sponsor or do they start arriving for the principal applicant or both? Thanks!

I got an email from CIC asking to pay for the RPRF - thought I had paid it. Hopefully this means that they have made a decision and I can add to the DM's in Nov through Ottawa!!! I am Aussie and currently living in Canada applied Nov 17 ;D ;D ;D

Congrats that's great news!

Hello Nov family ,

hope that all of you are doing well and still patient Wink

so from browsing here am just trying to come up with a list of the fastest countries in processing times!!

so What i saw is US is on the top ...wowoooo
I think i saw something for both Australia, and Poland , Turkey ... anybody has any more countries for shorter processing times Huh?

one more important, and more interesting question; How did the processing times change since before the
liberals took over till now Huh

so shoot me some answers and let's come up with a list for the change in the processing times based on our experience am sure all of you knew what was the estimated processing times before !

have a great weekend

Hey CONGRATS!!!! :D Ottawa is really good!!I just hope I get mines updated soon too :( Different VO so don't know.

My Vo, Pos is actually one of the fastest out land vos in the world. There was one case last year where a couple got visa issued within one month of application getting there , so 3 months total. Most cases are finished with at my vo in 3- 6 months.

Im so jealous!!! mine is very very slow could take up to 15 months but most cases 9-12 months. :(

The Manila VO is probably middling as far as processing times go.. seems to be 8-10 months is average time. I'm hoping like crazy we get through by this July/August.

Hey guys we r doing a Twitter campaign tomorrow starting at 9:00 am please please try to take part we need to raise awareness to these processing times. Also follow your MPs and tag them in your post and use #cdnpoli. This is a change to voice your concerns. We paid a lot of money to get these applications in so we deserve reasonable wait times.

It all depends on whose E-Mail address you had provided on file.
Once the app is at VO; E-Mails are directed at applicant's address.

To avoid any confusion; I had provided only 1 address.

Hello fellow forumers,
Today makes 109 days we submitted our application nd only have AOR, I applied for my GCMS note and understand lots of information hidden about my spouse which is the sponsor and application still at CPC-M Mississauga. Call numerous times still no information... am beginning to get worried and not that my spouse was called for any questioning or to clarify any issues.
This secrecy is really disturbing and killing, what should I do now????
Thank you

Sorry to hear about that, that's a long wait. Do you have your GCMS notes? Do they shed any light on what's happening?

Since you're way past normal processing time you could try getting your local MP involved, it's worked for other members here.

Hello Drkdd

a lot of times you don't receive anything and you only see a change on e-cas on the pr side that the application is in process, then it will have an extra line ( days or weeks later) to inform you when did they receive it at the vo , and when they start the processing. but from what I have read a lot , and my own experience you don't get an AOR2 most of the time a lot of offices neglect this step

Good luck
