Its going to go well for sure! Play 20 questions every day for practice with each and you will good to go... might even discover something new about each other too...

Your husband going is very positive too... I didn't realize people got called for interviews when we first applied...such a hassle!!

Thanks :) I will try to be more calm, as I know we love each other a lot and that's the only reason I am going trough this process :)

Most of October applicants got their DM's...I believed we are next in line..Smelling DM's for us too in a few weeks *crossfinger
#feelingpositive

Unfortunately its only a few, and then only those from very quick offices like Ottawa, Sydney & Vienna. Us at Manila are in for the long haul yet.

Do they change to DM before PPR? I was thinking DM is the last phase of status they change after VISA has been labeled on Passport. I saw some of October applicants got DM, not sure about the order.

Can someone clarify please?

It may depend per office? I know the Manila applicants I've been watching get PPR and thenlater their eCAS changes to DM.

Hi, December applicant here. Correct order is definitely DM first, then PPR (or CoPR by post if you are from a visa exempt country).

I wouldn't say definitely because I've noticed thats not how Manila VO works.

As much as I wish October all got DM's, only three or four of them got it last I checked a few days ago. The vast majority it looks like are still waiting. We should still see the very first November applicant or two in a few weeks I think. Let's see who will be the lucky ones! ;D

From what I can tell, it's mostly from Ottawa VO. Regardless, positive vibes for all. Once we see November get DMs, which will mean December will follow (I'm from December!) ;D

The correct order is definitely DM first, upon completion of background/security checks, eligibility etc.., CIC will make a decision on PR application, whether it's positive or negative. When approved only then PPR or CoPR will follow, technically and logically that is definitely the correct order.

Now Ecas indeed does NOT always show the latest updates on application progress, that is true. Some people wait for their AOR and then suddenly get surprise SA for example. Some people know they've been approved SA (by phone) and then spend 2 weeks waiting for any online update (file transfer or SA email). Regardless of the VO (Manila or not) Ecas is notoriously unreliable, however in general the correct order of things remains the same and PPR will not happen unless decision has already been made first, whether eCas shows it or not ;D

Best of luck and fast processing to everyone, let's all hope for that DM soon ;)

Going to have to disagree. There are many cases through Manila where the PPR was received very shortly after file transfer, and the VO sits on the passport for 7+ months before eventual DM. You can't tell me within 3-4 weeks of the file arriving in Manila they had made a DM, requested passport, and then sit on the stamped passport for 7 months.

Checked online this morning and it says DM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still only shows 3 lines.

We received application for permanent residence on November 6, 2015.
We started processing application on February 3, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

I can only assume this is great news.

Wife is Canadian, I'm American. Ottawa VO.

We really can't believe it. She certainly didn't believe it when I told her.

Best of luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Relax guys, Manila VO is 7-10 months average processing time.

If you read through the recent postings in the Manila thread May/June/July/August applicants through Manila are only just now getting PPRs/DMs. Since you're from October I would not expect anything for at least another two months, possibly and quite likely more. Just take it easy and wait :)

Does anyone know about how long it takes to receive GCMS notes?
