Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to the Application To Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted on behalf of [wife name] and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirement for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative .....

Just got my SA! BUT they said our application is being sent to Ottawa...... which is strange because both myself and my husband currently live in Belgium....... We can only hope we don't get called for an interview

Unfortunately its up to CIC where to send your app, if your husband is from India then it makes sense for them to send it there. Unless you get called for an interview it shouldn't affect you negatively.

I received new mail from CIC today saying that "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in Manilafor further processing"

My spouse and I am currently living in Ontario (since 2013), can I apply for her OHIP using the CIC letter I received today??
Sponsored application sent to Manila, how long would it take to be approved?

I do not believe that she would be eligible for OHIP with that. Call 1-800-387-3445 and they can answer your question
